NCARB graciously invited me to write an article for Black History Month about BBE and our work. So I turned it into another opportunity to elevate some of our SAY IT LOUD Exhibitors and People's Choice Winners.
Each of our 12 exhibitions are represented by a featured diverse designer(s). We featured their headshot, project and one of their answers to the submission questions.
So incredibly proud to elevate them and to SAY IT LOUD once again! The article was featured in the upcoming NCARB newsletters, which was sent to over 100k licensure candidates and architects!

First thing I noticed is the layout feels pretty uncluttered—everything’s spaced out enough that you can skim without squinting. The navigation also seems sensibly grouped, so you’re not bouncing between pages just to find basic stuff. I’m not into overdesigned sites, and this one keeps it simple in a good way. The content is broken into neat blocks and the columns don’t feel jammed together, which makes the whole interface easier to scan. The menu placement and those clearly separated content sections are what make it feel so readable.

789bet mình thấy mấy đứa bạn nhắc suốt nên hôm trước rảnh bấm vào coi thử cho biết thôi. Không phải kiểu ngồi nghiên cứu trò này trò kia đâu, mình chỉ tò mò xem giao diện có dễ nhìn không. Vào cái là thấy trang làm khá gọn, khoảng trắng vừa đủ nên không bị ngợp, lướt xuống cũng đỡ mỏi mắt. Mấy mục được chia theo nhóm nhìn phát hiểu luôn, kiểu mình biết đang ở phần nào mà không cần dò lại. Mình thích nhất là cách họ trình bày dạng khối với danh sách, nhìn nhanh mà vẫn rõ, nhất là mấy chỗ thông tin để theo kiểu bảng cột nên đọc số liệu dễ hơn.…

Mình không có ngồi đọc kỹ nội dung, chủ yếu lướt xem họ bố trí trang ra sao. Điểm mình thích là các phần thông tin được chia thành từng khối rõ ràng, nhìn phát biết chỗ nào là chỗ nào, không bị dồn chữ một cục. Thanh menu để ngay chỗ dễ thấy nên bấm qua lại cũng nhanh, không phải kéo lên kéo xuống tìm. Lướt tầm vài phút là quen tay luôn, vì mấy khung nội dung được canh gọn và tiêu đề…
