Excited to Share | I Am A 2022 Anthem Award Winner

Updated: Sep 17, 2022

I am excited to share that I was honored by the Webby Awards organization and received 3 Anthem Awards (1 bronze and 2 gold) for my advocacy efforts through Beyond the Built Environment.

Per their website, the Webby Awards focuses on purpose & mission-driven work and work with the social impact community, they’ve highlighted the need for a comprehensive platform to share these best-in-class examples. The Anthem Awards, was developed in response to recognize the breadth of this work around the globe by honoring the organizations, brands, and people creating long-lasting impact.

More than ever there has been a massive culture shift where humans worldwide have led and organized in new ways to build a more purpose-driven society. More than ever, people live their values and make active choices around the local and global impact of their daily actions—including the food they eat, the media they consume, the clothing they wear, the causes they support, and how they choose to spend their money. - Anthem Awards

This cultural shift coupled with the social and technological revolution has brought this new global consciousness to the professional world at scale. Beyond the Built Environment is proud to be recognized as an organization that is actively reimagining a better world for all.

BBE has been conscious of exposing our efforts to communities outside of the architecture field because we believe in the work that we do is serving greater society to be recognized along side massive organizations such as Nat Geo, Sandy Hook Promise, Forbes, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Google, Daymond John’s Black Entrepreneurs Day, Planned Parenthood, GLAAD, Color of Change, Morgan Stanley, Stanford University, American Red Cross, ViacomCBS, CNN, Participant Media’s Judas and The Black Messiah, Freeform, charity: water, NAACP, Disney’s The Lion King, Mark Ruffalo’s Solutions Project, and World Economic Forum and many more is inspiring and reaffirming that we are on the right path.

Receiving my trophies last week, got be feeling like Beyonce.

If you are wondering why I chose to send you this email, please know your support means everything to me. You are a part of my community and someone I aspire to make proud.
