Excited to Share | NOMA National Vimeo Page
Updated: Jan 3, 2019
Happy New Year! I hope you are enjoying your time with your loved ones.
As we look forward to 2019 I am very proud to share that one of my initiatives as Historian was to create and curate the NOMA National Vimeo Page filled with lectures and testimonials of minority architects, designers, engineers and planners. This effort is to push forward the mission of elevating their visibility and their contributions to the built environment. To date we have 35 videos and over 850 views !!!!
Our 2019 Presidents videos are up!
National Organization of Minority Architects President - Kimberly Dowdell
American Institutes of Architects National President - William J. Bates
Once you enjoyed the stories of our leaders please share with your network and encourage them to use this page as a resource.

After I sent my excited to share email, I received an email from one of the talented Curators at the Smithsonian: National Museum of African American Heritage and Culture indicating that they too are using our NOMA Vimeo page as a resource!! 10 of our videos are linked in their website in resource section!!!
Check out the Smithsonian Resource page by clicking this link.

https://www.jlbdt.vip/ showed up while I was scrolling a discussion, so I opened it out of curiosity and just poked around the interface for a minute. First thing I noticed is it doesn’t feel like a maze—navigation is pretty easy to spot and the options seem grouped in a way that makes sense, so you’re not clicking blindly. The pages also read clean because the info sits in separated blocks instead of being jammed together, which makes it quick to skim. I wasn’t even trying to dig into anything deep, but moving between parts felt smooth and I didn’t get that “where am I?” feeling. The menu placement is obvious and the content is broken up into clear, tidy sections on…
