MELBOURNE/AUSTRALIA Designer

Who or what inspires you professionally?

For the past months I have been following the works of an Italian interior/industrial designer named Tommaso Spinzi. His minimalistic approach to design with a touch of element that pops out adds this subtle fun into an otherwise ordinary space.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

Interior architecture has always been of interest. Looking at my father’s shadow and drawings that he produces, it always fascinates me how drawings can turn into buildings and thoughtful design can directly influence a person’s user experience.

What do you do?

I work alongside the senior designers to present interior design concepts. Maintaining good relationship with industry suppliers and keeping myself on top of what the market offers. Besides that, I also assist on architectural fit out documentation.

What excites you in the work you do?

Working at Plus Architecture has given me the opportunity to see projects evolve from initial planning & design into a physical building. It’s the happiest moment when visiting a site or display suite, seeing the team’s hard work came to fruition.
