How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I visited the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology during my junior year of high school and loved how people-focused it was. Industrial engineering piqued my interest to optimize systems and bring different areas of design together.

What do you do?
I help project managers keep their projects on track and discover the best ways to serve clients. Like optimizing systems in industrial engineering, my job prioritizes maximizing efficiency. My role is a combination of people and technical skills.
What excites you in the work you do?
Mentoring is the most rewarding aspect of my job. I strive to be a conduit of information and positive influence for young engineers. Coaching and seeing them grow, flourish, and succeed is the most exciting thing I get to do.
