The great designer,  Susan has architecture degrees from both NCSU and Harvard. In 1995, I became a partner at Cannon Architects, and in 2007 the firm was incorporated as a woman-owned business. Cannon Architects won the NC 2015 Firm of the Year. I have taught Architectural studios at the NCSU College of Design for over 30 years. I hope to inspire students to use technology, structure and programmatic restraints as design opportunities rather than as obstacles.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
