How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
As a child I was obsessed with going to open homes, observing how people inhabited their spaces; I was also an avid builder of homes with lego, sticks, cardboard boxes – anything!

What do you do?
I run projects at all stages, help design and coordinate buildings, liaise with stakeholders, crack terrible jokes. And I am a new mum!

What excites you in the work you do?
I love imagining how a space will look and be used, as I am designing or planning it. Planning homes is the most exciting as I get to have a positive influence on how people will live.

Speaking on a panel to architecture students about my personal experiences in the profession so far, about pioneering sustainability efforts in the office, early career ambitions and managing middle management roles.
