How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

My interest in architecture started at young age with a curiosity about spatial relationships and a sensitivity to my own surroundings. It wasn’t until I took my first architecture course that I really felt I had found my professional calling.

I am a designer with McKinney York Architects.

What excites you in the work you do?

I’m excited by the possibilities that exist in all projects, no matter the budget or scale. There is always some kind of challenge and discovery through the process.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

No single piece of architectural work exists in a bubble-we are all interconnected, and I feel the proudest when a project enhances the quality of the built environment for all.
