Who or what inspires you professionally?

I draw inspiration from my teachers, and various disciplines like art, language, philosophy, and technology. My aim is to express innovative ideas in sustainable design through my creative pursuits.

ROZITA SOPHIA FOGELMAN

Bio:

Fogelman is a conceptual artist and designer from Tbilisi, Georgia who now resides in Berkeley, CA. She established a media art graduate program at California State University East Bay and was recognized as a Research Scientist by the Israeli Academy of Sciences and Humanities in 2016.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

My brother's architectural drafting in the 60s inspired my passion for architecture and design, leading me to create futuristic urban environments.

What do you do?

I make digital patterns and models on Facebook using ASCII & Unicode code instead of the regular alphabet. It's eco-friendly and paper-saving, using the HTML text field as my canvas.

What excites you in the work you do? 

I want to create eco-friendly designs, using traditional and digital methods. I want to oversee projects from start to finish and mentor other designers.
