REG HERNANDEZ

Lionakis

SAY IT LOUD - CALIFORNIA Exhibitor
California Based Designer

Who or what inspires you professionally?

I consider architecture one of the highest forms of interactive art. Most high art forms are observed and not to be touched. So, I am inspired to create designs that provide function but also interact with our senses to provoke an emotion.

At an early age, I was always curious and observing the different buildings I entered. I especially liked seeing buildings under construction and trying to guess what it will look like when finished.

I am an architect in the Healthcare Studio at Lionakis.

What excites you in the work you do?

Its personal interaction with all the stake holders to find the “design” solution. And every journey is so different. But ultimately, its knowing the projects we are designing make a difference in people’s lives.
