PRIYANSHI SANGHVI

Bio:

Priyanshi Sanghvi is a great Architectural Designer and founder of Aesthem, a contemporary design studio creating collectible interior objects, fine art, photography, and curated interiors. Priyanshi has contributed to multibillion-dollar healthcare projects at firms including NORR and B+H Architects. Through Aesthem, she is currently curating art for a luxury penthouse residence in Australia. Her work is driven by a belief that the spaces we inhabit should feel beautiful, personal, and reflective of the people who live in them.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

I've been creating art since I was 4. Since architecture is one of the arts, I was naturally drawn to it. By Grade 7, I knew I wanted to pursue architecture and interior design. A Grade 10 architecture course designing theatre sets confirmed my path.

What do you do?

I'm the founder of Aesthem, a design studio and e-commerce brand creating collectible interior objects and art. I also provide art curation services and am currently curating art for a 7,500 SF luxury penthouse in Australia.

What excites you in the work you do?

Creating beautiful spaces and objects that people live with every day. I'm passionate about preserving centuries-old craftsmanship through contemporary design and creating work that enriches the lives and homes of collectors.

Who or what inspires you professionally?

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

While I'm proud of designing large-scale projects at architecture firms, founding Aesthem and seeing the President of Shopify purchase one of my marble inlay trays has been my proudest moment because it recognized work that was entirely my own.
