Bio:

Tobiloba is an intern architect at studio ksa in Toronto, exploring architecture, technology, and visual storytelling. Trained in Nigeria and Canada, he focuses on light, form, and spatial memory, using design, photography, and film to honor overlooked communities, reveal the realities of those in need of shelter, and help rebuild places where dignity, safety, and joy can be restored.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

I discovered architecture in high school through technical drawing. Seeing how design turns ideas into form and how it can rebuild lives, homes, and communities sparked my lasting curiosity about space, geometry, and the built environment.

 

What do you do?

Intern architect at  studio ksa, working on residential and institutional projects. I document places and stories through photography and film, using design as a tool to shape environments that improve lives and strengthen communities.

What excites you in the work you do?

I’m excited by how design restores what's broken and helps rebuild spaces that support life, spark memories, and bring joy. Nature, light, people, and everyday stories guide how I design and document places with care and purpose.

Who or what inspires you professionally?

I’m inspired by nature, people close to me, and the stories I’ve heard. Places I’ve seen, the team at  studio ksa, past projects, and the trust of my parents and wife guide me as I help repair what needs care and rebuild spaces with purpose.

​

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

Hearing that my design work, images, and films inspire and uplift others, family, peers, and those close to me. Knowing my journey sparks creativity, confidence, and a sense of renewal in people is deeply meaningful.
