Bio:

I'm Nichole Albright, a dedicated Design Assistant at ID8 Architecture. Currently pursuing studies in interior design and entrepreneurship at SDSU, my passion lies in creating spaces that forge meaningful connections with the user groups. With a keen eye for detail and a creative spirit, I strive to bring innovative and user-centric design solutions to life. My journey in design is fueled by a desire to harmonize aesthetics and functionality, enriching lives through thoughtfully crafted spaces.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

Interior design allows me to weave creativity into functionality. Crafting spaces that resonate with people's emotions and needs fuels my passion. Design enables me to sculpt a world where beauty and purpose coexist harmoniously.

What do you do?

My role as a design assistant, I contribute to translating visions into tangible designs. I assist in conceptualizing, sketching, and refining spaces that embody user-centric connections.

 

What excites you in the work you do?

Interior design excites me as it's a canvas for storytelling and emotion. Infusing spaces with personality, function, and style brings joy. The power to transform environments, evoke feelings, and improve lives is a constant, exhilarating journey.

Indulge in the ambiance of a speakeasy-inspired restaurant. Adjacent, a new 4-story hotel beckons with 75 rooms adorned in carefully curated finishes, celebrating Brookings, SD's historic essence. Uniting past and present, The Armory is a testament to architectural splendor and cultural preservation.
