Bio:

In the last 27 years, The Great Designer Maximiano Brito has had the pleasure of being a part of Rhodes+Brito Architects. The firm was designated 'Firm of the Year' by the Orlando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2016. Max serves on the Board of Directors for several charitable organizations and is highly respected in the Central Florida community. In 2019, Max received the Orlando Chapter American Institute of Architects Nils Schweizer Community Service Award

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

While taking classes in a Community College, a professor encouraged me to pursue architecture.

What do you do?

Partner in an architectural firm

 

What excites you in the work you do?

The possibility of making a difference in peoples lives

Seeing a project exceed a clients expectations.

Featured Project Description:

Florida A&M University College of Law is a 160,000 SF four-story building located on an urban site in Downtown Orlando. The facility has 20 high-tech classrooms, a moot courtroom, a 200-seat tier lecture hall, a student lounge, a law library, a pro-bono community services department, administrative offices, and two atriums. The Law School has become an integral part of the community by providing free legal services to the local community.
