Bio:

The great architect, Maria Abarce with over twenty years at Jauregui. Brings a critical eye as a Texas licensed architect to project design, development, construction drawings, and specifications. Her broad experience includes interfacing with project engineers and design review boards. Ms. Abarca has executed luxury residential projects of various design types and scale in the design-build format. She holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

Architecture and Construction of different cultures has always made an impression on me beginning at a very young age. It was a field that I respected before I really understood what an architect did.

What do you do?

I work together with a talented design and construction team to create breathtaking luxury homes that are move-in ready from a client's dream wish list.

​

What excites you in the work you do?

Creating - Knowing I had a part in creating a beautiful home with a design-build team that strive for excellence and watching it go from drawings to finish product.

Who or what inspires you professionally?

I am inspired by leaders and free thinkers that are creating new paths and sharing their journeys with others.

 

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

Becoming licensed and being in a position where I have the opportunity to share my experiences and continue to grow with others.
