How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

I learned about architecture through family. They asked me what I liked around the age of 6 and I stated “I love drawing, math, and money”.They proceeded to sell me inflated numbers on what an architect makes and from that point on I was captivated.

What excites you in the work you do?

Being able to go on-site and experience the space I’ve been designing.

Role in Featured Project:

Sole Designer

Featured Project Description:

This project arose from a want for a project where creativity leads the decision making process outside of the minutia of architectural function. As implied by its name, The Place Inside My Head, is an environment that is meant to serve as a sanctuary within my mind. It’s concept came to be through the practice of meditation. When I meditate I generally imagine myself in an environment of my own creation. This project aims to gives those imaginary environments solid form.
