How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I first became interested in architecture while tagging along for university open days with my older brother. I was fascinated by the drawings and models displayed at the school of architecture.
What do you do?
As an Associate at BKK Architects, I deliver projects & assist with leadership & management of the practice. Working on large & fast-paced projects means my days are busy, so I need to be organised, agile and flexible to juggle several urgent tasks.
What excites you in the work you do?
The built environment has a huge effect on mental and physical wellbeing & I love designing spaces that enrich the lives of people who occupy them. I enjoy that every project is a problem-solving exercise to optimise how people experience a space.
Who or what inspires you professionally?

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
I’m most proud of the confidence I’ve developed in my own abilities. When I graduated & entered the industry I was overwhelmed by the knowledge & varied skills that architecture requires. Now I lead large projects & I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.
