Heidi Lee is Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Zero Emissions, a leading Australian think tank demonstrating how the country can prosper in a zero-emissions economy. She led the organisation's recent Million Jobs Plan, which showed how in just five years, renewables and zero-emissions projects can deliver 1.8 million new jobs in the regions and communities that these are needed most.

The Million Jobs Plan is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the growth and employment potential of investing in a low-carbon economy. It has been delivered in consultation with Project Advisors from business, government, community and industry who have supported this work. The proposals in this plan, in sectors such as renewable energy, buildings, transport and manufacturing would generate more than one million new jobs, reversing the losses from COVID-19 in the first half of 2020.
