Bio:

The great designer, Fitgi Saint-Louis is a Brand Designer creating impact through insightful experiences. An energetic leader known for delivering artful design solutions she has collaborating with clients and communities to create meaningful spaces. Fitgi’s projects include media workplace headquarters, brand identity development, event design, educational institutions and community spaces. A Design Lead at Gensler NY, Fitgi works in cross-disciplined teams and champions internal advocacy efforts in the NE region.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

I learned about design and architecture in high school from my instructors. I decided in my senior year of HS to study design for a profession.

What do you do?

Brand experience design. Developing brand identities, creating integrated workplaces, educational, community spaces.

What excites you in the work you do?

The ability to transform or create new spaces that bring people together and inspire.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

Being awarded Interior Design Magazine’s 2020 HiP Rising Star as a Workplace Designer. Creating a community space with Dress for Success in my local community.

Featured Project Description:

Housed within an adaptively reused cast-iron building in the Flatiron District, Xandr builds upon their parent corporation’s rich 140-year history by balancing archival celebration and technological progression.The “21st Century Workshop” headquarters celebrates the historical aspects of their company, building, and neighborhood while simultaneously providing an inner glimpse into the future-thinking, algorithmic digital advertising that their creative workforce excels.
