She brings 15 years of architectural experience and a passion for diving into the details to all her projects. At Kirksey, she mentors team members, sharing her wealth of technical knowledge and assumes ownership of project directives. How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

My 10th grade math teacher suggested I look into architecture after a graphing lesson. Taking her advice, I enrolled in an architecture elective and fell in love! I was very excited about the unique blend of the technical and the creative.

What do you do?

As project manager, it is my role to guide our team through the project, with the responsibility of ensuring our clients' goals are realized. This is realized through mentoring my team, providing quality control and facilitating communication.

What excites you in the work you do?

With higher education projects, our clients are innovators in their field. To create spaces that support their missions, we embed ourselves in their work and routines. I enjoy becoming an "expert" in our clients' passions.
