California Based Designer
Who or what inspires you professionally?
People in general inspire me. By understanding people's behavior, needs and desires, it's fascinating to see how the same space can be interpreted differently. I am also inspired by the New York Five, Louis Kahn and contemporary Japanese Architecture.

As a boy, playing hide and seek made be aware of my surroundings. I was intrigued by the spaces around me. The built environment became something I wanted to imagine and create. It wasn't until Middle School when a teacher directed me to Architecture

What do you do?
I started a firm with a friend in 2021 and it's been great building our own thing. I am also serving on a couple committees with AIA California and working on some exciting statewide initiatives.

What excites you in the work you do?
We're not recreating the wheel, but I do believe not all good music has been played. Research, exploring, designing and seeing unique spaces take shape is really exciting. Then it's really special when you see the clients connect with the space.
